Put it in a bowl of dry rice overnight and see whether it boots up. If not, an IC needs replacing.

lol

ok if the ic needs replacing ya maanisha nita nunua the entire motherboard or screen ama ita niku buy a new ic tu? am a bit naive in that electronics sector

nita i busk kwa ja kisha ni iweke kwa rice but am also tempted to turn it on ndio nijue kama ime work

Sun won’t help. Water will just evaporate and settle elsewhere in the phone may get to other parts to cause corrision. An anhydrous material will suck out the water.

Huwezi kosa Fundi town.

maybe lenovo can help

Na kung’oa battery. Alafu kama sio maji ilimwagikia, angefungua aoshe pcb na home drycleaner, then the rest aikaushe ndani ya mchele; ama kama yeye sio msee hands on, apelekee fundi then…

shida ni battery is non removable na kuitoa inge complicate vitu sana

Hapo naona kama board eventually ili’die. If at all you like taking challenges, just pull out your precision screw drivers and disassemble the phone, then use home drycleaner to clean the main board and such connections. But don’t let the solution touch the screen or the outside of the casing, then assemble it back and test. But ukweli ni, hio haiko…

hehe ipeleke salon wablow dry ama urudi kwa thread ulikuwa unarecommendia sketi simu ununue mpya

Hio blowdrier hainanga moisture kidogo?
