What is happening now in Tanzania Politics under CCM ruling is disgusting, frustrating, embarrassing and violating all human rights as per UN conventions.
For the US embassy in Tanzania to raise a concern over the just ended by-election recently won’t be enough. Actions must be taken now to end the violence, harassment and irregularities done to Opposition side intentionally by NEC in collabo with Police, Government rulers and CCM youth wing famously known as Green Guards!

All eyes on Tanzania can see clearly that there is Democracy no more. There is no free and fair election, there is freedom of speech no more, there is no same level of play ground in terms of Politics in Tanzania. All opposition parties has been banned to exercise politics anywhere anytime except during GE or by-elections under the condition that an MP from opposition will campaign only in his/her constituency!!
Under these circumstantial evidences, it’s high time now for the International communities including the USA government to take stern and serious measures against Tanzania to stop these politics nonsense. The measures among others must include an economic embargo. All aids, grants and business relation with Tanzania must be ceased immediately.
