If the white man never came, what could you as an individual have discovered?

Let’s assume we never made any contact with the white man and we remained confined in dense forests, hunting, gathering, and grazing cattle. Further, let’s assume no effort at learning/knowledge/science would have been made by the Africans. So, basically you wake up, don your body with skins and head to the forest to hunt or to look after your animals. While idling in the bush, is there any discovery/invention that you’ve have thought of?

Personally, I am convinced that I would have at least thought of gravity. Frankly, I believe I could have sensed that there is some power that forces an object to fall downwards. I also believe that I could have ‘discovered’ that this power increases with the weight of whatever is falling.

I also believe I could have guessed that either the sun or the earth revolves around the other. Why? Because I could have waited one night to see the sun ‘return’ back to the east for the next morning duty. And since this would have failed, common sense would at least have told me that this sun goes around the earth which would have made conclude that the earth is like a soccer ball with the sun going around it.

What could you have discovered?

You such a narcissistic SOB, apart from the way you play with words you lack substance. Case in point, ancient cities in west africa shows you are a house negro.

Mathematics and astrology was invented in Africa

Nothing much, just fuckery

Scumbag, go easy with your misery driven drivel. Most likely you’ll take 50 years to accumulate the knowledge that i’ve got about Africa so babbling to me about west africa’s ancient cities is a little bit more infantile than telling me to recite the English Alphabet . I always state this: if you find my posts to be full narcissism, you don’t have to click them, much less read them. Everyone here got his/her tastes and if your stuck up mind makes you feel uncomfortable/irritated reading some posts, you’re free to leave the forum.
Luckily, i rarely read your useless gibberish so i got no arsenal to confine you to where you belong based on what i suspect to be your long history of silly and cockeyed postings.

I never knew that ,ul’d write simple English …For the first time i’ve read ua thread without perusing thru google definitions…

and you would have been wrong. Gravity is constant. g = 9.80665 m/s

this part was obvious to most pre-colonial peoples.

africans did not wear skins. Common misconception.

It seems you guys are not getting my point: Ok, let’s remove the whole African societies/colonization issue(because it seems some nutjob up there with an ego more fragile than an egg has been prickled). Let’s assume you just found yourself alone in this planet. Perhaps with some cows for your sustenance. What invention could you have thought of(even if it means trying out some wild fruits and discovering that they are actually food)?

Necessity is the mother of invention. In Africa (or South America or North America or Asia or in fact anywhere that is not Europe) where food and fertile farmland were plentiful, why would you need to invent anything?

Agriculture (farming) and eventually build an ox driven wooden plough.

All in all this is a nonsensical discussion. How can you possibly know what you would or would not have discovered. For one it would depend on the environment you are in. You cannot discover wooden chairs when the environment you are in has only shrubs. Do you then want us just to start shouting random things like car, spoon, chemistry etc etc just to please you because you’ve put up a post.

This right here confirms that the masterly of a language, both written and or spoken does not in itself define an individuals level, or lack thereof, of intelligence . Like it has been said up there, you cant discover the intricate business of floating a vessel if you inhabit drylands. The discovery spiral staircase is based on need and use.

Assuming we don’t make contact with extra terrestrial life, what will you discover?

The coming of the whiteman messed we as Africans. Its because of their presence and influence that we have akina fappian mboro in this village

Na huyu muchamaa ana matusi kama Malaya akipata period.

Nigga, you don’t insult someone just because they aren’t soothing your ego. And you are not qualified to advise someone to leave the village- you may leave it too if you cant take the heat.

Like it has been stated before, this post is pure nonsense. All people across the world had their own discoveries- not just the white man whose asshole you want us to help you suck. And thinking that you are the most knowledgeable on African matters is just plain stupid. We know shit, and we don’t brag like you do.

Tone down your ego. Asshole.

Where I come from, agriculture has been the backbone. Thus I would have invented something to make farming easier.(Ignoring frequent migrations of tribes.
