I’ve fought with my faith for many years.I see the ugliness in the world and how innocent people are treated and I ask myself.Has god gone on vacation?, does he know whats happening?, does he care?, is he even there?. My bible is gathering dust and I don’t think I’ll ever be in a position to open it. I do not want to anger anyone or step on anyone’s feelings or faith. I will continue to respect all faiths but personally I m done

After I got that monkey called religion of my back everything kind of made sense. When bad shit happened to good people I understood it for what it was fate not some being testing you and shit .
I still respect religion I believe it has a role to play in society but all that fire and brimstone chieth is just myth (to me anyway )
The heart of men is desperately wicked. thats why you see so much evil around. But then you have to pray to God to interceed. God answers prayers, have faith. We can learn alot from the bible about great men of God who changed circumstance around them

I think you are fighting yourself. Decide to forgive and love yourself. It will be hard, because you are part of that world you despise. But you must start by loving yourself before you can even think of loving God, whom you can’t see.

Religion was meant to be a good thing, to communicate what was a fact in simple terms.
To make it a base in achieving Total Development in mankind. But, what is happening?
The same religious are the ones guiding masses to violence, to murders, to massacres and for “political correctness”
So, why should you stick to something if you see it’s wrong? Just leave it.
However, there is an Intelligent Being/Designer behind us men and the universe. Don’t worry, he won’t judge you because you didn’t follow a particular religion.
Just live a life you would wish fellow people would have led. Love others. Love yourself. Respect nature. Love good. Meditate. And you will gain much more insight.
