Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen, I am thinking of venturing into sale of ladies hand bags, mens shoes and wrist watches(for both genders). This I will be doing online through face book and twirra. I need guidance on the best sites to get classy items at fair rates and how do I get them to Kenya. How long would it take to import also?
If there is anybody doing it here I will appreciate if you take me through the steps.

Manufacturing locally is very costly… One has to look at failed manufacturers who have shifted manufacturing base to other countries and import from there. Or chosen to simply import for trade purposes only and not care about anything manufacturing… Bata, Sameer, etc
Do NOT dare with Alibaba. I imported some few smartwatches at 79.50 USD only to come “revalued” by KRA to 153.00 USD (15,000KSH) out of the blue for no reason at all
Then add tax and “agency charges” and you are finished my friend

on the tax issue what if its 1 item with no invoice or what if you asked the seller to label the parcel commercial sample only or let him under value the smart watches down to like $3.can those options work?
