Importing a car from Japan

Has any talker ever imported a car from Tradecarview Japan and what was your experience?

labda Beforward around march

tradeview is a brokerage platform that links numerous different car dealers to buyers. You need perform due diligence because some dealers are not honest. Have used them twice with different results

Have gotten one dealer. How do you go about with the due diligence

Go through their ratings and customer feedback on their page kama kuna any negative review in the recent three years wachana na yeye. And the reviews must be varied and wide and should span some years

Plus never ever ever deal with any trader outside that platform, as in privately…no matter how good the deal he offers you is…never ever do that

I tried twice. Was disappointed at the transit times and quality of the cars I got. resorted to just leaving imports to guys who do it regularly.

Si watu wanapenda ile SBT japan

Know of someone whose 4000$ drunk water. The car dealer in jp even had a local contact but they Malaysia as soon as the funds were delivered. DD is always good and if a deal is too good to be true, just ignore.

Try Autocom japan http://autocj.co.jp/used_cars?log=1&cnt=5&maker=

Just imported mine from sbt. The process was as smooth as a baby’s butt. Inbox nikusaidie

Hii mambo ya inbox ndio inakuwanga not advisable. So uandike tu hapa sisi wote tuone

The particular model nataka sbt hawana though I would definitely have preferred them.

Okay, my bad. Niambie nini unataka kujua

Kama hawana inaitishwa boss. I got a 4.5 vehicle from the auction.

Only deal with car dealers that are registered with Jumvea ( http://www.jumvea.or.jp/ ), akina befoward, tradecarview are only platforms where the used car sellers advertise there cars, the prices are usually set higher than the actual price of the car and ni kama olx, jumia etc kuna wakora huko.
All companies that export used cars in Japan have to be registered with JUMVEA. http://www.kenyarep-jp.com/news/17/170329_e.html .
Do not be enticed by very cheap deals, some used car dealers in Japan source defective, damaged or rusty cars from the auctions and repair and repaint them and then sell them at a cheap price.
Also most of those companies that advertise that they enable you to buy directly from auctions are lying.

Used tradecarview for over 8 yrs now. One incident only, when I was new to the site like around 2008.there were many fraudsters then. Ordered a fielder from Prosper ltd Japan for a lady, 1.5 but the pics they had presented were of the 1.8l so I basically got a different car. I ended up disappointing my client, the car was a KBN and was a deal at 650k with around 85k odometer. After a lot of cosultation with the lady we agreed I sell the car and split the profit and re-order. Sold it at 900k Jamuhuri and later lodged a complaint with the seller’s. Was refunded $700 for the mix up. They improved the site with the introduction of pay trade which locked out most of the fraudsters and later pay trade was done away with, now you pay to carview account which acts like a third party and overlooks all transactions. You won’t lose your money, but check the negative customer reviews or feedback, some are baseless like the batt was low…spare wheel or radio missing (mostly on transit cars) stolen while enroute for delivery.look out for took too long to ship, documents not send, different car delivered etc. Those are the red flags. They have a kenya office at International life house at I think 4th floor. Don’t purchase through them you will lose 30-40k. Order direct on the payment option in usd. Get the invoice in USD with preshipment inspection, go to a forex bureau convert you cash and go pay at the bank. Tradecarview is absolutely safe. Let me know if you need a reliable competent clearing agent.

Nataka mazda atenza but I’ve read bad reviews about Tradecarview. Naskia hiyo ni kama Olx ya Kenya

Let me ask for you. I have a family friend in SBT. That will be tomorrow, leo tuko Idd

Sande mwami

Don’t believe everything you hear. They have the best deals even than SBT. I have facilitated over 70 cars from this site alone. They have the best deals. Look out for Trust Ltd, Matel Co. & Goldmines Ltd. Absolutely good
