How do companies like African Salihiya, Savostore deal with taxation issues; you normally pay a fee by the weight shipped but what about value of items? Why does Posta charge exorbitantly if I have to declare the cost of purchase for a item e.g. computer worth for example $2k? Is it better to go through these companies or import yourself?
Posta charges exorbitantly coz umetumiwa item moja.Salihiya and the likes huleta mizigo in tonnes,na hio computer yako moja becomes part of a one or more tonnes consignment,so the cost of freight is cheaper.Basic maths.
