This is a great move, I wish Kenya could adopt the same, you get a digital ID card that would contain your tax paying history and every time you swipe it at a government office queue, you will get a faster line depending on how much you are funding the government.
That would be very very considerate. Now if they multiply the number of votes you hold depending on your tax paying history, that would be beautiful …
I have a feeling this is how future governments will operate…everything will be commoditized because all information will be easily accessible… no more queuing for hours at Nyayo house ama NTSA if you are worth it
India has many millionaires and billionaires but they are notorious tax evaders and they hide their wealth all over the world. They have spent a lot of time, energy and resources chasing after their shadows so now its the carrot and stick approach. Go to Mumbai and see how each billionaire is building his own skyscraper residence but he has court tax cases for miles on end.
Hio pesa ya kufanya hivyo itakuwa imetoka wapi? Why queue for hours with people who don’t pay taxes? Imagine ati Manu Chandaria na Mwangi wa equity wako na kura moja same as @digi . Wakati Chandaria anataka kupigia MTU wa maana kura, he is handicapped by kina @digi na @Motokubwa mwenye wanataka waititi ama sonko. It is not fair.
