INEOS CEO first wanted to buy the defender rights from Landrover, they refused. Then he came to learn they are changing the face design and that was his chance to design something that would appease the oldschool defender purists whole felt the new defender didnt retain its authenticity.

What ineos is trying to do topcat is doing it on the defender frame work… They design a new /better drive train on a defender chasis add corvette ls3 v8 engine and the result is super fast monster that can be an everyday car.

These people that I see buying ex-jeshi defenders in Kenya, are they able to get new engines or parts for them?
