This thread is inspired by @Chifu 's thread on biasharas failing especially at the hands of those it would have helped the most.>>https://www.kenyatalk.com/index.php...take-you-made-in-your-startup-business.58386/

In that thread watu wame explain how bizness went tits up due to some scatterbrained folk especially relatives. my experience with so called relatives who you try to help up the social ladder is that kuna watu hawawezi saidika.

First scenario, immediately after joining campus I noticed that a cousin who we were close when kids was a kange at a nearby stage. tukaanza mastory nini nini. kumbe jamaa alihepa shule class 7. one day akanishow kuna base ya pool inauzwa doo poa na akaipata anaweza wacha hii job ya kuchapa gari ribs. pool was big those days so without wasting time nikaget funds from my helb and some from home. sisi hao now owners of a pool table and a kashed where rent was 1k per week.

the first month biz iliua sawa rent ikajilipa na tukapata za kurudishia mwili pole. second month stori zikaanza.since nilikua stude singekua hapo full time. so the bugger would give me stories ooh kanju ilikam ooh OCS alipitia blah blah blah. waaa. end month hesabu iko negative. helb imekauka, home wanajua kijanaa ni entrepreneur yeye ndiye hata atajilipia next semester fee. waaa. sema kukonda. hadi pesa ya mess inakosa na with 20bob ungekula ushibe.

kufanya CSI nikadiscover jamaa anaentertain maliar pale Senate na pesa ya biz. nikashika nare and confronted him. by the end of the third month tulikua tumekosana vibaya na jamaa. nilimtuma ile stuff ya chalk tao nikaosha hio base. pool table tuliuziwa 42k niliuza 20k na nikamblock simu. hadi wa leo tukimeet kwa get togethers tunakuanga kama Jirani na wakameat.

FFWD.
2016 was a good year for me. towards the end nikaamua hizi baraka sitakula pekee yangu. hooked up with another cousin who hustles with no regular income and his GF had just given them a baby girl. nikamshow now ni kuwa mwanaume. so asked him atafute biz tuanze. 2 weeks down the line the nigga came to me with a biz idea that entailed exploiting loopholes in the communications act. (no more details priss). so chap chap equipment nini nini, location na kadhalika.

the biz started well considering the hustle of convincing guys. kitu the third month napigiwa simu na a strange number. kushika, wanadai ni cak officers na wamenasa so and so on grounds bla bla bla. sema kuanza kusweat. nikawashow tunaeza ongea at least kitunguu inuke kwao. tuka agree figure and location for hostage exchange. ikahappen na tukarudi biz.

long story short, i came to discover it was a setup and the cak ferkers were actually his buddies na hio pesa walisherehekea Nax. nikafanya CSI hadi fb nikaona pics from one of the ferkers profile. niliskia tu joto na ilikua a very cold day. nikafikiria solution. long story shorter, niliorganise sasa ashikwe cha ukweli on a friday evening by some cop friends.

sato nikaenda kujifanya naorganise release but in actual sense napanga aachiliwe monday. biz nikaenda nikachukua equipment and stored them in a classified locashen. monday jamaa kutoka cell akinuka meffi nikamshow hii biz imekua too dangerous na akifungwa kamiti mimi ndio family yote itablame. akazua but i held my ground. sai he is back to his hustle na mimi nimeamua kujaribu kuinterfere na kile mungu amepangia msee nefer efer.

so wadau kuna watu who utaona in life ni kama wako stuck but ni kama kashetani ama ni nini?? juu as @pseudonym na wengine wamejaribu kusaidia raia but haisadiki. kama ni biz, anza and look for employees like Trump would. maneno ya sentimentality wachia blues musicians. look at how ruthless american companies are. that is the only way to survive in business. why do you think centum are so successful??? hao watu wakinunua shares in your company jua tu hakuna kuregarega. there is usually a reason why someone is at the stage they are in life. either they are being prepared for greatness or punished for past indiscretions. usijifanye jack ya kuinua mtu by going out of your way.

i always tell my employees that biz ikienda down, nitalia one or two days and try something else but for them itakua back to square one so mtu asikue na attitude ya ' i am not the owner'. pale kitunguu inanukia apana leta micheso bwana. hii sio CHAN :D

Doing business with family is like committing suicide. I prefer dealing with strangers so they know that if shit goes down it is going down with them. For family, the best I can do is give someone some capital to start a business but consider it as a gift to them and not expect returns from their biz.

Hiyo last paragraph ni ukweli kabisa. Most of us (employees) have this don't care won't care attitude that hiyo ni shida ya mwenye biz, Mimi wacha nicloak masaa yangu nijitoe, end month nataka account itingishwe Na salo, whether kampuni imemake hela or not.

The same mentality ndio inafanya employees wanaibia employer ( hata kama ni mhindi usimwibie) ati, huyu ni source hata tukihepa Na hii 50k hawezi feel kitu.

Attitude is the keyword.
