Am not a pro but I enjoy playing with the dish when time allows. Its fun switching to different satellites, watching different channels from different countries.
Are the channels stable or you have to keep scanning after some time?
Let’s say news is the big reason most switch to tv from say YouTube, the amount of local content is amazing from madame wa bedsitter, ujinga ya kennar and the rest yani I wonder why I would watch the soaps ,niger crap, or the silly talk shows on live tv, kama ni politics ziko online

Very stable.
Encrypted channels like bein sports do open in some satellites, shows live football matches.
Am on 57E NSS 12/ETHIOSAT, there are Ethiopian channels showing Live football, English documentaries from Natgeo, BBC, Movies and the good thing is, most are in 1080HD.
Downside; No timetable for showing those favourites, this hour it’s documentaries, the next moment it’s their movies,dramas in their language. All in all, you cannot compare the satellite with our local terrestrial stations.
