Just like most Sundays I planned to chill and spend the day doing for the most part, absolutely nothing. I woke up around 6.00 am which is quite unusual to my standards for a Sunday morning, Checked my phone and for the first time in a while the notification actually made me happy. It was an email from freelancer. “Hi MadPhilosopher you have received $35 from employer X”. This was for a project I did around 25 days ago, it involved sending a package to Canada. I shipped the package through Posta Kenya which was in a way a strong let down. 20 days on they had yet to deliver the package and I was at a loss of 2000 of my own investment plus considerable labour I had put into the said project. I counted my losses and decided to forget about this whole freelance thing. I imagined even if the employer received his project, he would simply decline payment citing late delivery etc. So actually receiving that unexpected money brightened my morning to a great extent. I quickly logged into freelancer website and hit the withdraw button. Just in typical MadPhilosopher luck I was hit with a notice that this being my first time withdrawing from the site, it would take around 15 days to process the withdrawal request for ‘security’ purposes. Ferk you freelancer you certainly did not feel the need to wait 15 days when you automatically deducted $5 from my bank account even before I received payment for the project. Anyways I chose to be humble and concluded $35 in 15 days is much better than absolutely nothing. So I logged into Sportpesa and decided to place 2 single bets. Arsenal like always have made me loose money. Liverpool are 1-0 up as of now so that’s a positive.
So let’s come to the main story of today, around afternoon I grabbed a sweet mango and took a bite. After chewing for a little bit I feel this hard object going around my mouth. That is certainly not the mango, on close inspection I realised it was indeed my molar that had absolutely collapsed. I am horrified but not surprised. I have always had shit genetics when it came to bones and teeth. Thankfully am blessed in other sectors :). After relaxing a little bit it hit me I needed to fix this shit, Went to the dentist and told him to remove the whole tooth. He advised me that the teeth was pretty strong and it would be much wiser to start a filling process. Removing it would weaken the adjacent teeth etc. So i decided to follow the advice of the professional. This procedure sees me incuring a damage of KSh 4000.am to go back on the 25th to complete the treatment. After all expenses am left with around 11,500.So this is the budget for this moth:
Dentist:4000
Taking my mbich out. (I promised) :2000
Balance :5500
So am currently left with 5,500 to last me the entire month. This being a December and factoring in that I use around 300 a day. Am in for a very long hard month. :mad:. Hii peasant chronicles lazima zitaisha.

Freelancing hutaka discipline. Kama mimi sai nikataka naeza amua kuanza xmas celebration from kesho mpaka 2018. But because I know January ni ndefu na lazima nikunywe fobe na mbishes mfululizo for one whole week, nimeamua kuwork mpaka the last Friday before xmas.
It’s what was left after all expenses factoring the unprecedented Dentistry expenditure. Am also a part time student. So still some time to really make it in life
Somehow very true but I promised her ntampeleka this place and she has been looking forward to it. Can’t stand appearing to be the guy that goes back from his word.Will create other connections hopefully.
