Jehovah's Witness

Back in the day, everyone feared these guys. Those people who volunteered for field ministry must have had a really tough time knocking on doors, they probably still do. Being seen with Jehovah’s Witness literature was a taboo. Kids from their religious background were unpopular in school. Now that I am older, I can’t figure out why anyone would hate people who were just passionate about their beliefs. I’m Catholic, but the level of religious intolerance then, and probably now is alarming.

I once was walking around some estate nikapata a magazine ya Watchtower kwa ground. it was still new. some kids were looking at it like a slug…then one of them quipped “wachana na hio kitu…unajua inaletanga kisirani” I was dumbfounded at the utter ignorance and stupidity parents can inculcate in kids… hata hapa kwa kijiji people are so full of shitty opinions na hamjawai interact na witnesses beyond what u are told by empty headed fools.

Naongea hivo coz I stillgo to the Kingdom halls…heri hao kuliko hizi kanisa zingine…

is it true that you don’t accept blood tranfusion even though it can save your life?
you do not exchange gifts?

one thing though i can give props to JW’s…your women can dish out poon like a mofo!!!, i was in a three year relationship with one akitoka meeting kanapitia kwangu tupimane mukonyo :D:D:D:D:D:Dkwani munawakaziaga aje ama sex ni illegal huko? alafu wako faithful kiasi hata kama wanagawa inje ya hall

Chunga vile unaongea about Caro.

hahaha, nilikuwa napenda kusoma hixo vitabu zao. I have a few old copies around though it’s being long since I laid my hands on one.

Kwa estate yetu kuna a JW couple. They are fond of accosting our guests. Sisi wengine tuliwatambua ukiwaona unakata kona.

i used to read their “Awake” publication back then in the 90s, it had nice science n tech sections… na unajua there was no internet that time kwa kijiji so it was very useful to me

yes, they have good publications. The purpose of reading is to gain knowledge and new perspectives. I even read the Quran once in a while, not that I care about becoming a muslim, but it expands my perspectives on religious issues.

having an open mind is very important

JWs are usually very cool people only that they conflict what most people believe in and their questions can confuse someone. If truly is just about reading their publication its okay but what of this extreme persuasion?

I respect all religious sects as I believe we all praise one God but this also came with age. I used to funga mlango faster when I saw one around the compound. Once, nilimeza malariaquins kadhaa, I saw death but somehow a JW was sitting next to me in bed praying, didnt understand how she got in nor left my one roomed kea, I believe her prayers saved my life. I have so much RESPECT for them since.

The reason people don’t like them is they push their recruitment agenda too much.
My last day in Campo while I was packing up wawili walikuja wakaingia since the door was open. Nikawaambia sina time, wakasema niendelee na packing as they preach to me. Wameshinda round 1. After a bit nikawaambia naenda kupick kitu Kwa a friend’s room, wakasema watachill hapo inje nirudi, the fuck.
Nikaamua kuwaweka kabisa, kurudi after an hour hawakuwa, nikaendelea kupack. Wakarudi tena, this time saying wanataka kuniombea nipate job haraka, hawa watu ni kama kunguni, you can’t shake them off

Ask ‘brother’ @emali. hehe

i loved hizo books zao za fire and brimstone and supernatural stuff

hio religion ni a captive religion (Google)
ukiingia, hakuna kutoka. juu
ukitoka, unakuwa excommunicated by even your parents.

it’s also a tiered religion. sisi the public tuko kwa the lowest rung. the door knockers don’t tell us everything. (eg excommunication, prevention of research etc)
the pastors wako na books zao hawafai kuonyesha door knockers, the guys at region HQ pia wako na books zao hawafai kuoneshana pastors, alafu kuna 7 apostles wako new York, maboss wenyewe ndio wanamake decisions kama ya blood transfusion.

imagine life yako iko in the hands of wasee wasaba wenye walivote BY A SHOW OF HANDS on wether or not to have a blood transfusion!

how’s this different than the Catholic church deciding no use of contraceptives?

Its in the Bible

Though its hardly practice-able

A white JW couple knocked at my door a couple of years ago, my wife and I welcomed them in, we had a lovely debate over a cup of tea, they thought it would be a conquest to make a Muslim couple ditch their religion, after 4 hours of lively debate they left the house confused, they tried every trick in the book but zote tuliwakamatia chini. However, one thing we agreed upon, was that Jesus is not God nor the son of God.

Convince me Jesus is not Son Of God
