When you hear JaKuonists constantly claim that the current regime has been riddled with corruption, you wonder whether they really know what they’re talking about - or if they’re cognizant of that Jimi is hell-bent on capturing the state called Kenya.

The devolution that Kenyans are so proud of would be a thing of the past. Remember that gluttony has no morality. Keeping in mind Babu-chupi’s past dalliance with communism, I have no doubt in my mind that there would eventually be Civil War in Kenya.

Tuko pamoja. May I suggest you study the dynamics of a civil war. Several books cover this area. And then compare those with the situation in Kenya.

I dont see it dying for very many reasons. One is the appetite for funds in rural areas is too high. And rising. Thousands employed as a result of devolution. Lots of programs depending on devolved funds. Where will they go? And I dont see governors giving up their positions of power.
It initially may have died because of a weak constitution with systems being doctored along the way. Try doctoring anything now and see.

Where did you get the info he worked on his own?
And somebody else wrote sections of the constitution to his (RAOs ) liking. In fact this is where it is biting him. Remember someone said to always write a constitution you would give to your worst enemy.

Governors are just former mayor positions. A serious cash crunch or crisis due to political instability can make the majority do things to the constitution that even we wount like.

Fight for democracy was done by people who are least mentioned in such forums.Raila just joined them when he saw their quest for democracy was headed somewhere.Since then he has used that history to retogressively ask for a piece of cake from the national govt which in my view others deserved more.
Right now we are seeing someone who is even going against a decision from a court that he hailed by introducing hurdles on the way of a clear constitution and rules.When countered the person cries foul.I have always wondered whether he want to be given a leeway and do all that he want.Without anyone questioning him.

Startup hicupps. These are expected. If you didnt have a credible revenue collection system beforehand, dont expect one to be created overnight.

It comes down to he is the only one standing, in good health physically and still has a reasonable backing. That's why he is still in the limelite and the others are quiet.
We all agreed to a constitutional process. Part of that process is a Supreme Court hearing making a final determination of the final result. Which it did. What is the problem with that? That is not Raila's choice. But as you also see is Raila chained to that constitution itself. And he cant stop it. Think of the constitution as a rolling wheel and not a document, and maybe your views will change.
Dont forget that Raila is a professional Politician. Every politician offers a service for his advanantage at the end. Anywhere in the world. Its just what he is offering vs the need to the population is the question.
