All Mombasa mega projects are either ongoing or will start construction this year. From Dongo Kungu phase 2-3 (awarded construction starts in August) to complete its southern bypasses. Likoni bridge and dual road link bypass (tendered in Japan and to be awarded this year) connecting Dongo Kungu to Mombasa island-Mtwapa road. Northern bypass and Bamburi link dual roads (tendered and to be awarded this year)

Now the Mariakani to Mombasa Road which includes Nyali Bridge 2 is moving along well.
Mombasa will be transformed in the next 5 years.

i saw some extremely beautiful renders somewhere on youtube…if thoseguys can engineer something close then I think coast will have world class infrastructure

The first one is Jomvu and the second one (the one in three levels including a roundabout) is changamwe.There is mikindani interchange too.
