I’m for preservation and all…but I see all this ending up the NeMa sound pollution way…where you just pay n make all the noise you want.

Actually the paper bags preserve the muguka much longer than the nylon bags.

Vitu mingi huundwa na hupakiwa kwa plastic. What will be there fate examples cd, imajin unapewa cd iko wazi imefungwa na tissue. Most dawa pia huwekwa kwa plastic because of there hygroscopic nature ama ban ni specific?

The penalty for carrying a plastic bags is however highly disproportionate. Wouldn’t it have been better to incentivise recycling.
The law will be a cash-cow for whoever has the responsibility of reinforcing it.

Village market tried ya unapeleka jeans mzee unashonewa shopping bag on the spot…but I don’t see the same sensitivity to environment trickling down to mama wa chapo…msee wa mayai etc
