JUMIA VS KILIMALL

Local online shoppers nyinyi hununua wapi

Mimi tangu Jumia wadeliver in a record two days, straight to my door ninestick na hao. Alafu niliangukia offer flani where I saved 6k from my initial budget.

Sisi watu wa jiji formerly olx hata kama kuna wakora wengi

gikomba market

Only for price comparison. Mimi lazima nikanyage duka, tusumbuane kidogo na mwenye mali

Me too trust issues siezi lipia kitu sioni

Jumia used to have very authentic items and be very selective about merchants when they launched.
Now when I see an item on Jumia, I just discount 20% from the average selling price and quote that as my starting price at a physical shop.
The only local general online shop I trust is avechi otherwise the only thing i order from Jumia is food because if you order gadgets from them na ikue na defect, you are in for a long dance.

I tried to buy items worth 16K and delivery to Nyeri was ati 10K!

Jumia.

Sema Tu you like bargaining

I have tried both, but jiji.co.ke is the best

Ata Kama Jumia has disappointed me at times, Kili has disappointed me almost every time until I said never again

If you are in Nairobi Avechi will do same day delivery. Jumia take forever, their international orders are riddled with misleading adverts, and sometimes orders will be cancelled. I have only shopped from kilimall once for a shoe rack, again misleading advertising. Plus I hear Kili and Jumia ni kitu moja or they are related

africa’s online shopping has a long way to go …delivery iko na shida kubwa , if posta kenya had serious leadership , online shops would deliver kwa door step through posta … or uchukue mali yako kwa local posta office…

Jumia. The trick is to go with a seller who has good ratings and you won’t be disappointed. Kilimall is trash, they ain’t up to scratch.

Jumia is owned by a bunch of investors. Kilimall is owned by a Chinese and run by Chinese based locally.

i thouht avechi was a scam?

I have bought 4 phones from them and a microwave. For phones they are very legit since they are not middlemen and own the actual inventory they sell which is why they are cheaper. Sio kama Jumia

I recently made a purchase on Jumia and Kilimall. I placed the order on 2nd July. The Jumia order was a large one with 7 electronics. Kilimall order had 4 items.
The delivery point was Narok.
Range.
Depending on the item any store can have variety.
My advice, check the seller. How many other product do they sell?
Be careful especially with Kilimall. It’s like their sellers default alot. Check out reviews. Kilimall is better at reviews than Jumia.

Delivery.
Narok is considered a last mile destination. Kilimall sent through G4S while Jumia used Wells Fargo.
Jumia delivery is VERY expensive. Very. The delivery fee was 2000 shillings while Kilimall charged me 250. I kid you not.
The items got here the same day. Monday 6th July.

For both stores always check the seller. Good sellers send your items out on time. Kilimall is very bad at customer service but I find that they have a wide range of some items.

All in all online shopping requires alot of patience, research and trust.
