Just how full of talent was Franco's TPOK !?

Look at this 1979/80 album

02. Mbawu Na Ko Récupérer yo (Simaro Lutumba) 16:31
03. Bolingo Moitie Moitie (Diatho) 29:20
04. Kufwa Ntangu (Gerry Dianlungana) 40:40
05. Meka Okangama (Checain) 49:35
06. Likambo ya Moto (Wuta Mayi) 1:00:10[/SIZE]

This is top form OK Jazz. Each song was composed by different member of OK.

None of these was by Franco. I’ve my favorites (Checain, Simaro) but all these others were excellent composers too. Remember they were primarily vocalists, guitarists, etc.

To bring together this caliber of individuals together and crunk out excellent albums for 30+ years makes Makiadi the best band leaders in the history of mankind.

Madilu system is my all time favorite.

As a composer ama vocalist ?

I guess he was also a good composer.

My mother has never been a fan of any particular music but she attended Franco’s 1986 concert in Eldoret.
