I Wonder at all this noise i have been seeing inthe net about KALI-linux. I have been been a member of some hacking sites for quite sometime aand i have observed this trend that everyone is singing KALI this KALI that i even once saw a post in this community about the same, what is your take on this fellow village geeks does it deserve all the attention?

stopped using it on version 17 i jumped to the bunsenlabs bandwagon as my home distro but mint is amazing everyone could use it looks alot like windows 7

@Deorro what is your take on kali linux for e i find it full of distractions i rather prefer blackarch which is based on arch linux

I know how to use its just that its overated for there are better distros out there that do the same job much better
I was an Ubuntu user since 10.10, but somewhere along the line it became apparent that it was getting bogged down by stuff. I switched to mint 17 which was light-weight in comparison. Never been better…
if you are a forensics guy then go for it, nothing beats it otherwise for normal usage use other distros. nothing has better hacking tools than it

I agree ubuntu is bogged by alot of crap i dont use or wont ever use i rather prefer something that will utilise my hardware without any wastage.

Another thing,there’s a reason as to why OSCP use kali and not black arch.
