The USA can’t win any war in the middle East. They are now begging Taliban to negotiate. Who would have foreasi this? They have never understood the cultural and geographical landscape of this region. The regime will fall in case of an attack but in the long run the US will lose much much more.

Let me tell you guys.
If the US ever attacks Iran, then the whole world will be against the US. Why? A quarter of the world’s oil passes through the Straits of Hormuz, a very narrow seaway that can be blocked with a few sunk tankers and mines. Iran could accomplish that very easily, starving the entire world of oil. A barrel could shoot up to $500, wrecking the global economy.
What’s more, Iran now has serious allies in Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine and Pakistan. An attack on Iran will lead to a a regional conflagration involving multiple actors in several theaters that would make Iraq look like toy-play. It is also likely that Israel could be drawn in, splitting Arabs allies of the US. End result? Unprecedented bloodshed through-out the Middle East and Northern Africa. A mini-Third World War.
Iran is not Iraq, a country of about 26 million people when George Bush attacked. Iran has a population of about 80 million people and has serious allies in China and Russia who will work chini ya maji to undermine the US at every move. Just see what they are doing in Venezuela - for all its muscle-flexing, the US will NEVER EVER try to attack a serious military power (which is why 26-million people North Korea is safe, they have some serious missiles!), kwanza one which can hit their mainland - the US will disintegrate into small countries, starting with California breaking away if they are ever attacked seriously.
People like Bolton are careless old foggies overtaken by the times, and as such are very dangerous. Hopefully cooler heads at the Pentagon will always prevail.
