Beba tu kachai and you'll get it very fast. KEBS mark of quality is shit and not something I rely on when buying stuff. Some people even download it over the internet and place it on their packaging. Shida ni ati there's a number that should go hand-in-hand with the logo. Hapo ndio unashikiwa

You have to register to get the number

Just visit their offices scattered all over the country and you will fill a form and pay a fee according to your turnover. They will visit your premises unannounced to check and take samples for analysis and advise. It also helps if you buy the booklets they sell which contains the respective standard

I had to check your profile to make sure i dont know you...today alone i got 2 phonecalls from people who were asking the same question....luckily they were both handling imported stuff. Last week another one called asking about the same question...food product made locally...could you be the one? Launching potato crisps?
That aside, you have been answered pale juu...and am happy with this kind of news, it means a lot for this tattered economy

Watakuweka kwa large producer category, always seems to be their default. A bunch of forms on how you should track your product distribution in case of anything and to always always renew that KEBS number they give you otherwise they'll claim that your products aren't up to standard and thus a ruckus of pulling them from shelves while genuinely you are just late in renewal.
