I see you have come of age.
A few years back we used to gather in a watering hole with a group of friends. It continued for quite a long time and all along I was the one footing the biggest part of the bill. I asked myself hard questions and realized I was gaining nothing by being part of that group. I slowly dropped out.
I have no regrets to date and I feel absolutely at peace with myself entering a pub and quenching my thirst alone.
