Kenya power

I don’t know kama ni place na stay ama ni majority.I think this kenya power people cut the power as a way of extorting for overtime.Maze I am in rongai and nearly every day from 9PM kuna black out.I don’t know kama kuna employee wa kplc…Maze this blackout issue needs to be addressed.Kenya power needs a competitor

I live right next to a HEP power plant. We have electricity four out of seven days of the week. It’s no longer a big deal. Kama hakuna we just light the candles.

Kenya power ni ma umbwer tu!
They neva fail to disappoint.

I think they should militarize the company…Too many complaints

Generate your own power…

That line of thinking, is what took Kenya belly up. When systems are failing, it’s time to stand up and ask hard questions, but Kenyans seize the opportunity to flex their financial muscles.

I agree, we all need to join the #SwitchOffKPLC group in order to obtain a revolution in this industry. I don’t imagine in these days of working from home/online, one doesn’t have power for several hours a day. Worst still, power just poofs in the middle of making an important business pitch online. Sucks!

Yet you are able to charge your phone and spread ignorance online any time you want. Enyewe Kenyans ni kama toddlers in many ways, always mopping around and generally playing victim. Na crazy sense of entitlement. Hebu Google about the energy industry in Nigeria or South Africa then compare thet with the cheap reliable power we got in the 254

Me nakumbuka just 10 years ago stima ulikua bado for the elites, thanks to kibaki for bringing last mile to peasants. If l told you Kenya power makes 70% of their revenue from large power customers. They don’t really need your 200 token money so be grateful you even have a power line courtesy of the government. It costs more to bring you that power than what you pay so acha mehee mingi and sit down

Kindly inbox your meter number.

@kryptony works for kplc or he is affiliated to it. Hio defence ni kali kama ya githurai sharks F.C :D:D

So true…
Poor public education…they take to expensive local/international private schools
Poor roads…they buy SUVs/choppers
Insecurity… hire bodyguards/electric fence/bullet proof cars

Internal wrangling and cartels in kplc make it very difficult for simple decisions to be made, they change general manager s like Diapers.

Ngoja Elon Musk amalize kutengeneza hizo million hour batteries linked to solar panels, my fren mtajiongelesha na hizo dam zenu!!!

Umesema you don’t need the measly 200 bob???

Fery gut. What is coming will make you swallow your words very soon.

:D:D

I showed KPLC the middle finger kitambo

In the U.S hii maneno inaitwa going off the grid. Sticking it to the man. Giving the man the fuck finger.

The man in this case is the govt. The grid is the electric power grid that the man uses to subjugate the subjects.

There is also cutting the cord. When you go off the grid you must also cut the cord.

Cutting the cord is abandoning cable pay tv or the version of DSTV in the U.S and instead go for free satellite or FTA ile ya Meria Mata.

Hii ni uzito

Their own employees are their worst enemies. I have a neighbor in shags who works for kplc. He pulled electricity for kilometers to his house. He was required to present a minimum of 35 homesteads to get a transformer. He took to his own employer a list of even vacant houses, but he made sure he ommited my house and another neighbor, just because of petty jealousy. I can pay more per month than all the homesteads he hooked up combined because I have more use for electricity. If you replicate this scenario you will understand why these guys make losses.

How did you resolve the issue?

I am still on solar
