Kenya recalls somalia ambassador. Declare Somalia enemy state

Apparently because Somalia auctioned the disputed oil and gas deposits at the ocean bordering the two countries. My question is, why are they not doing the same to the western countries that knowingly bought the disputed deposits? Is there a western country sitting pretty waiting to supply weapons? Why has Kenya of late become the soft target of all it’s neighbors?

Wamepata mteremko wa kubully…

Somalia have had this coming ever since they started selling us to Arabs as slaves. I feel no guilt. The Navy should deploy all the ships to the border.

They should all be deported we don’t need their backstabbing asses.

I do not think Somalis were ever engaged in slave trade on Kenyan soil.Somali Jareer are all from Mozambique and Tanzania. And it was the other way around.Omani traders sold Tanzanians to Somalis. Not Somalis selling Africans as slaves. Somalis who arrived in Kenya in the 1700s were not an organized group but a band of pastoralists roaming about. On the other hand those in Somalia did have a sultanate North of Kismayu and they often bought slaves from the Barawe Arabs and Swahilis who in turn traded with the Omanis.

So… what will GOK do? declare war on somali and take the disputed waters by force?..Not that we are cowards but I think our problems are about to increase tenfold if this dispute is not resolved amicably…

Simply threaten to deport their gnvmnt na watarudi wakibeg

So all along Kenya sent it’s troops to Somalia because of Oil?

Wariahe wote Eastleigh na South B warudishwe Somalia wakarushiane mabomb na alshabaab alafu Uhuru should build that wall…maghasia

Let’s see how true the rumour that Somali govt is run from Nairobi is. If we hold such influence, why can’t Kenya convince Somalia to withdraw the case?

You need to start reading books. You sound weak & pathetic with this false Somali victim mentality. Kenyans were never enslaved by Somalis, their slaves were captured from Southern Tanzania. The Wakamba slave traders were a bigger problem in this region.

I swear history is like krypronite to Kenyans. If a Kenyan thief attempts to mug you on the streets throw history books at them and watch them melt away.

Jubaland will side with Kenya. Madobe is being fought viciously by the central government in Mogadishu coz of his determination to make Jubaland a semi-independent state just like Puntland and Somaliland. Our strategic plan of creating a 200kms buffer zone between our border through the Jubaland valley to River Juba is on course

Where does Ethiopia stand on these issue? A divided Somalia suits them better as opposed to a united one

Kenya is nothing more than the enrichment vehicle of a handful of political families. Neighbouring countries have realized this, Somalia being the latest nation.

If Somalia has more balls to protect its assets than the fictional ex-British entity of Kenya then too bad.

Unfortunately, you have some truth

More info please? This sounds like a warning.

Exactly. Ambia waiter akuletee tusker mbili na ribs choma kausha.
I keep telling Kenyans we need to take geopolitics seriously. Our philistine culture and media is so inward looking and provincial, giving rise to a totally localized near-sighted petty mentality for generations.
Regional stability for decades has rested on the maintenance of the Ethio-Kenyan strategic alliance. All nations seek to encircle & squeeze their enemy through alliances with their enemy’s neighbor as Sun Tzu advices in the Art of war. Eritrea thus formed partnerships with various state & non-state groups in Somalia as a means of maintaining pressure on Ethiopia on multiple fronts. It is clear with the recent Ethio-Eritrean shift in their relationship, Kenya may be slowly losing a key ally. Yet very few Kenyans follow outside events, instead our decedent media buries us with anti-corruption and lover killer melodrama.
Our neighbor’s citizens & their diplomatic cliques that visit our country can sense some serious weaknesses. Not tangible weaknesses like military strength but a lack of a deeper abstract sense of organic nationalism that has been so deficient since independence.
It is in the interest of those families that have been profiting from this ex-colony to wake up and fully appreciate how important it is for them to seriously invest in state building & social engineering so as to improve our arbitrary claims of legitimacy in the eyes of our neighbors in the region.

Kenya was a source of slaves to Somalia and the vast majority of slaves who were brought to Somalia came from Kenya, Kenyans were uncivilized butt naked tribes hanging and swinging through tree branches.

Kenya haijui chenye inataka in all this war.No favouritism
