Its late and i just got home from work. So just as we had discussed here its time to strangle the grip cartels have on us. This is good progress and I hope we can proceed like this .

Thumbs to these mamas. They are the back bone of our families.

Following

As maize is struggling with 200-3000 a 90kg bag , this thing is fetching Ksh 9000 a 90kg!! and needs less input andother shenanigans involved. I hope the trend picks up steam.

whats that they are diversifying to…sina bundles za kuwatch hio vcd

Then there will be an oversupply and brokers…

People should also grow sorghum. Like now, EABL demand cannot be satisfied by local markets and it has to import like 60% of what they need now. to Add on, it is drought resistant, just little rainfall and is well to go

The main reason that might lead to brokers control I’d if it becomes the only sole crop. Let others do millet, others sorghum others something else. This will give us variety, diversity and also put oversupply under check. Then to brokers itakuwa " mshika njia mbili hupasuka msamba" they can’t handle cartel-hooding multiple crops .

Millet ,others sorghum. One bag of sorghum fetches 9000 while maize 2000. Sorghum doesn’t need too much care and adulterated like maize with cartels and chemicals. Also they mentioned is healthier than Zea mays
