As the title suggests, for those of you who have recently applied for a passport through the e-citizen portal, do they actually need the parents physical original ID card ama naeza peleka copies?
Is it also true that the queues pale Nyayo house are crazy?

Enda mapema ya kitu 8 am and you will be out of there by 9:30 am. When I applied for mine, it took me less than an hour to be served. Bora ubebe your parent’s certified copies and 2 passport photos ( one should be signed and stamped by a lawyer) and also your original birth certificate.
Does the lawyer stamp the passport that the endorser has recommended or another clean one?
You don’t need a lawyer.Just get a colleague who is a passport holder (He/she could also be your recommender) and have them sign one of the passport photos at the back and add something like ‘this is a true likeness of … (your name)’. Alafu like you have been told, enda mapema

You write a letter explaining circumstance of loss, plus you need a fee of about 10,000
