Soo jana asubuhi airtime iliniishia nikiwa kwa mat enroute to town so I stopped in town to buy airtime from some shop on some corridor along Latema road. Some guy came and without talking akapeana 100/= na akapewa pombe kwa tumbler, gulped it down in one go and off he went. Nikiangalia kwa shelves there is no sign of alcohol, ni vitu za kawaida za shop, mikate, soda, sukari, juices, sabuni and what not. So jioni going back home out of curiosity nikapita the same corridor, all those shops along that corridor kwa shelf sasa ni pombe tupu na walevi wako hio area ni wengi zaidi. The level of alcohol consumption in this country is too high, and with such joints I am very sure second generation spirits are back.
