KIA and Hyundai can they survive in Nairobi?

I have noticed that both KIA and Hyundai are really building top-notch executive sedans that are coming after the German and other European brands.

For $15,000 dollars one can buy a used Hyundai Genesis from 2013 with power and comfort levels comparable to a Maybach. These cars brands aren’t too popular in the states since plebs have been brainwashed by BMW and Mercedes that those are the only cars in the world.

KIA and Hyundai need to start selling these vehicles in Africa where the market for such sedans will be booming in the next few years. And both KIA and Hyundai have been upping there levels of quality in their executive sedans which should be a lot more attractive in the Kenyan and African market.

2013 Hyundai Equus $15,000 - $22,000 dollars used. One gets Maybach level comfort.

2015 KIA K900 $17,000 - $20,000 used.

2020 Hyundai G90 $70,000 - $78,000

2019 KIA K900 $64,000 - $70,000

KIA and Hyundai need to start selling some of these brands in Kenya and in Africa. Spicing up the luxury and executive vehicle market for the new upcoming CEO and professionals in Kenya. Even Uhuru should ditch those expensive Mercs for a KIA which will increase South Korean investments in Nairobi.

Jamaa mbona hukuchukua gari ya 1980?

They are korean so I guess yes. forget resale value and forget reliability alarms if any. Toyota aina resale ata usijidanganye. watu wa kununua ndio utapata in droves all offering sorry money for your well taken care of car. if you dont believe it do the math. KCA mercedes benz good condition is doing 1.3M having been purchased at 1.8m. KCA toyota is doing 720 having been purchased at 1.3m. even if you price the mercedes at 1.2 it still beats toyota in the percentages.

Nilikatazwa.

Some had to.

Resale value depends on branding. I’ve seen people by used Mercedes just because of brand. Then come crying because maintenance is not what they expected…

These Korean cars are just as good and the availability of parts is easy, and these cars will last.

Getting a RHD from Japan is almost impossible, what you see on the roads are ex UK and showroom I believe.

They are good cars. few years ago when i had money i drove a Hyundai Sonata for a few months. today i thank God for the gift of life, bora uhai

Unajitetea aje Webdev.
