Knocking sounds while reversing

My car (fielder) has a little problem for a while now, wondered if anyone had experience it or know what is the cause of it. Whenever am reversing and turning wheels I would hear a knocking noise under the car. But its not all the time and the knocking disappear and comes back again.
knocking only in reverse sounds like its directly under the driver side. It knocks two to three times while the car is reversing but not easily heard while reversing straight back. What might be causing this please?

I am going to make annoying repetitions of what someone told you yesterday when you asked about clunking noise in a moving car while steering wheel is turned. Clunking noise when the car is moving with the wheel turned? Almost always is cv joint. Check the cv joints. That noise is likely from the cv joint, but if you are hearing it in reverse only, I suspect you getting it when your car has been resting in the parking lot for some time and is cold. If your car has been having torn drive shaft boots, or the boot clips have slid and the grease has poured out, the cvs are already worn out. Once you replace the cv joints, consider inspecting the cv boots once in a while and keeping the cvs well greased. So, clunking noise is likely cv joint, right side.

As savage has said, the culprit could be likely worn out cv joints due to torn rubbers. Same happened to me. I got stuck on the suswa-ngong chochoro, a stone cut my rubbers a month later, ukikata corner the knocking sound was there. The culprit was the boot rubber. Replace them or buy the complete drive shafts.experience has shown me that replacing cv joints/bearings is a short term solution since the dust itakuwa imepanua hizo cups. Kimbia pale shamas nunua complete drive shaft. 3-4k.
