As I promised sometime back, I was gonna put up a thread on how Kodi works.
Kodi™ (formerly known as XBMC™) is an award-winning free and open source (GPL) software media center for playing videos, music, pictures, games, and more. Kodi runs on Linux, OS X, Windows, iOS, and Android, featuring a user interface for use with televisions and remote controls. It allows users to play and view most videos, music, podcasts, and other digital media files from local and network storage media and the internet.
Kodi does not provide any media itself. Users must provide their own content or manually point Kodi to third party online services.
Our interest here is channels broadcast over the internet aka IPTV ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPTV ), with addons, Kodi can stream channels e.g Nat Geo, Discovery and most important, Football.
There are several addons that one can install into Kodi to enable one watch the channels. It’s a process that one can easily do themselves and involves a bit of file downloads.
I installed Kodi afresh so that I can walk you through it…
For this one I was installing ccloud, which is an alternative for IPTV Stalker which is no longer available as a free add on. Btw these two pack a lot of channels in them. Here is a detailed walkthrough…

'm still going through the add ons, there’s plenty of them, scratch that, very many. I saw one where PakSat and beIN sports HD were online so plenty of football streams including the ones cCloud carries. I will continue updating you on any new add-ons (interesting ones)
