Guys from KPMG came to our firm for the final audit and they were stressed allthrough…their supervisors were giving them daily targets and they were coming as early as 7am and leave as late as 9pm then they had to go back to their office before they go home. They have zero social life but their payment perks are quite impressive.
They are actually really good for someone starting their career. They give you exposure and a very good work culture. Staying there for too long is another story altogether.
Verify good if you want to be a bean counter your whole life. I worked for a firm dealing in oil and gas once, a lot of money but the stress I had. I went on leave and awol till now. I don’t regret it.
