KQ Flight 507 crash. What really happened?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvBuDmxwyRQ

So the capitan tried to overrule the aircraft’s instruments. shait.

Supreme Fisi, has this accident been featured in air-crash investigations?

Yani mtu anacheza na maisha ya watu hivyo, acha nipande ndege za mwarabu.

Nduru zinasema the Pilot was experienced but co-pilot was barely out of his teens. When in the air, the pilot gave command to the co-pilot to engage autopilot and verbally confirm… the co-pilot didn’t. Sasa the plane starts twerking in the air ndio wanarealize later ni kubaya. In a panic mode they each push buttons and controls, further confusing the plane!

Oh crap such a small mishap maze!

:D:D VS nilikwambia hii kusafisha macho hapa kwa kijiji itakuharibu. Ati ndege ikaanza kufanya nini?

it started skylarking :D:D:D

the captain fucked up. he gave the co pilot the command to engage autopilot and then didnt pay attention at at all to what his charge was doing. the co pilot was not a pilot material. he didnt know the seriousness of his job and wasnt paying attention to a plane taking off. remember captain was taking off after being warned about bad weather. and he didnt seek air traffic control green light to take off. hehe. aliingia vile tu ummoiner huwa inaingia kwa njia.

Hii Ni bullshit NTSB walikoroga kusafisha Jina ya Boeing. The plane had a problem with the radar screw & motor. After that crash , Boeing advised airlines to change the radar screw & motor.

Unbelievable. I wonder what was going on in the COCKpit. This doesn’t make a lot of sense.

Iyi flight simulator iko jonjo, specs za iyo machine lazima ziko juu

The worst ni kulikuwa usiku na kunanyesha, they both could not see shit. Uyo pilot in command juu alikuwa na maaraka angeconfirm iyo ndege iko autopilot tu

Sooo sad that it was a preventable accident. They were hurrying to where? Having a sober mind is very important when dealing with people’s lives.

Who made the decision to fly despite being advised not to do so by the control tower in pitch darkness in the midst of a Tropical Storm?
Certainly it wasn’t Boeing?

In aviation, there’s a saying safety first. You do not leave the parking unless all issues are clear. Nevertheless, it’s from such incidents that the rest of us learn from. Unfortunately we Africans do not adhere to learn from mistakes method.

Barely out of his teens aje? The copilot Andrew kiuru was my friend. He was 24 years then.

Am seeing planes landing from an opposite direction kwani what’s up …wajuaji mko wapi

24 is very young to be in charge of a jetliner defying weather conditions and air traffic control recommendations.

The 2012 Databook listed the average age for all U.S. pilots as 44.7 years, 44.8 in 2013 and 2014 and 38,9 in 2015. The average age of the airline transport pilots remains nearly 50 and for commercial pilots around 45 for the last 5 years.Nov 29, 2016

I don’t think criteria is age, rather flying hours and simulator sessions.
This crash was just wrong call from the captain in my opinion, taking off in such weather or wrong judgment or instrument failure.
These people before take off, do a briefing on how to handle a mishap or what action they’ll take if a situation arises. They’re always prepared, and there are check sheets to be followed while preparing to depart from the gate.

Head wind.

True but kuna airport zingine parts ni shida plus flight ikiwa cancelled airline itafoot accommodation, crew wakipitisha hours lazima mtumane crew wengine. etc

I think the captain was disoriented and failed to pay attention to what his aircraft was doing.

May they Rest in Peace.
