KTN.....

I watched this channel about TZ pre-election coverage and on election day. It is a rumour-mongering station whose aim seems to propagate an opposition idea that an election is only fair if opposition wins. Biased interrogations of electorate focusing mainly on opposition strongholds.
I thought being a neighbouring country, you would leave rumour mongering to TZ stations and be unbiased or keep off there.

How do you know it’s rumor mongering? The Tanzanian electoral system is quite opaque. very little info is trickling in.

All media is like that. In fact, kenyan media is more honest and reports reality than most media in Higher income countries. CNN, fox, Al jazeera, CNBC, etc, are what out media houses will become in the far future. They will simply be places where propaganda is manufactured and deliberate misinformation will be propagated.

CNN and Fox are fraternal twins. They both pander their news to the lowest American-centric viewers and that silver haired gay person who keeps repeating “We don’t have any new information on the developing story but we can tell you…”.

I like Russia Today and Reuters for their factual representation of news. I hate it when a news channel tries to tell me what to feel about things.

You’re like me. I loathe that CNN rhetoric of : “There are no new reports from hospital, but here’s what we know about Odom blah blah blah…” Do they have to say something about a random junkie even when there is nothing to say?

Hili wamelifanya kusudi kuchochea machafuko

If Kenyan media would use their infinite ability to preach peace and quit propaganda, the crisis we are facing now would have been avoided

Preaching peace doesn’t bring any money

Do you know how many niggas buy the Nation just because Raila is the headline or his photo is given prominence on the front page? The Nation figured that out long ago and that’s why he’s a permanent fixture on the front page even when he has absolutely zero to say. Does it mean Kenya is short of issues to highlight? They are there in the hundreds but unfortunately they won’t drive sales.
