Kukaliwa na Subnetting

Nimekaliwa na subnetting a network of 172.16.0.0/16, any Shujaa here kindly assist solve this task.

just demonstrate how i will subnet this network using VLSM

Network design
An organization has six offices at different locations in three different cities as described below

A. Los Angeles
The Main office is located in Los Angeles where the majority of users are located. It hosts 35
servers, seven (7) routers with 17 active interfaces, 20 switches with 26 switch management
and Layer 3 interfaces, four(4) Firewalls with 12 active Interfaces, 600 IP phones and 600
workstations.

B. Kansas City

  1. Regional Office
The Kansas City regional office connects to the Los Angeles main office. It hosts 7(seven)
servers, four (4) routers with 10 active interfaces, four (4) switch management and Layer 3
interfaces, no Firewalls, 210 IP phones and 210 workstations.
  2. Remote Office 1
The remote office 1 in Kansas City connects to the Kansas City regional office. It hosts 1(one)
server, one (1) router with two(2) active interfaces, one (1) switch management interfaces, no
Firewalls, 12 IP phones and 12 workstations.

3. Remote Office 2
The remote office 2 in Kansas City connects to the Kansas City regional office. It hosts 1(one)
server, one (1) router with three(3) active interfaces, one (1) switch management interfaces, no
Firewalls, 15 IP phones and 15 workstations.
C. Dallas
1. Regional Office
The Dallas regional office connects to the Los Angeles main office. It hosts 5(five) servers,
four (4) routers with 10 active interfaces, four (4) switch management and Layer 3 interfaces,
no Firewalls, 155 IP phones and 155 workstations.

2. Remote Office 3
The remote office 2 in Dallas connects to the Kansas City regional office. It hosts 1(one)
server, one (1) router with three(3) active interfaces, one (1) switch management interfaces, no
Firewalls, eight(8) IP phones and eight(8) workstations.
You are given a class B address 172.16.0.0/16 for the organization. You need to divide the given
address space into subnets such that your address plan meets the requirements of different sites. In
your design, you need to consider address hierarchy, VLSM

A. Create a table with columns for information about the location and required IP addresses
for different types of devices and/or interfaces. In the table, also show the total number of
IP addresses required for the devices, total number of IP addresses that you allocate for
each subnet and the range of IP addresses allocated for each site with their subnet masks.
B. Where (if any) will you use route summarization in the network and why? Also, show the
summary route information for those sites.

This looks like a typical assignment, why do you want to cheat around it?

Wouldn’t it better if you invested some time and read through your notes and slides ?

If I were you (but am not) I would be more intrested in the why and not how

PS. Subnetting is just math, hint 2 raise n and network.network.host.host

Continue from there

Nini haujui?

I am more interested in finishing that because of time

Using Facebook and Twitter :D:D

Facebook sio ngumu kama Twitter. Anza na iyo

Am very much against doing peoples assignments

But here is another hint

You are starting from a slash 16, allows you to create a network with thousands of hosts, think ISP level with each network started from an elevated hierarchy

Once opened a Facebook account and couldn’t figure out why and how people use it , so I had it deleted

we husaidii

hii uliza anco uwes

Fanya assignment mwenyewe. The joy in solving the puzzle will never equal anything

did you end up figuring it out?

yap bt too tired to think, why ask?

Unafanya MCSE in how many months? Tuanze hapo

nope, si fanyi MCSE
