I have now settled in and doing some minor adjustments to my house. The air here is clean. The sun is sweet. I wake up to the crowing of the village cockerells and the chirping of birds. I saved a lot of cash last month and have put it aside for the house. I don’t think I have any major complaints other than the usual nosy neighbours but I have let that not bother me. I will soon put up WIFI in my house and may even get into the WIFI business. On Sunday, I will join a church with my family. Otherwise, I am happy here and don’t know what the hell I was doing in that cloudy, smoggy aired, loud and expensive urban life.
Welcome to the tranquility of rural life my brother. I discovered that secret 13 years ago and moved my way out of that goddamn overcrowded filthy city and I have never looked back. Just master a trade and you will be good to go. Also fall in love with the farm.
Moved out of towns 11 years ago. If you see me in Nairobi just know I don’t have any other option.
