I have recently noticed new villages being created and am now very curious. How does the admin and moderators benefit by say hosting this sites. I noticed in klost there were numerous adverts on the site, could this be one way? Because thinking about, they go through everyone’s postings like prefects, all day all night, there’s no way they are doing that as a passion. and if they do make money, for those with experience, about how much do you think klost made on average per month. Sites like this one can only make money through ads although what i know is that it is no joke making money through online ads. Very few people click the ads.
Google adwords/advertisement programs notwithstanding, i still believe there is an undiscovered formula out there that can create a goldmine out of online advertisement. i am certain that most people rarely click the ads that are brought up alongside google search results. Of course the ‘few’ who click these ads manage to generate billions for google.

You have to employ people to do all the stuff. If you want users, you have got to advertise(internet adverts are expensive) or get people to spend all day blogging or posting on social media. if you grow you need expensive space and processing power. You have to muscle out competitors.

Even if you had the 14k, you need to hire a techie or educate yourself and most importantly market yourself some way and you have got to use some cash to beat existing forums.

And if you know a successful site where a good amount of money hasn’t been used tell me. I’m willing to learn.
