KUWAIT DRIVING LESSONS - A MUST SEE!!!

Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back to life 3 days letter.

Some Driving Tips in Kuwait - This is part of their "fun"..Just a simple crash. That country has got the most extra ordinary manifestations to prove the non-existence of a necessary d being than which no other is conceivable
Some eye candy for those sado=masochistic bunch of the crowd. The second, at least from the baseline of roughly 2010, could possibly, on a relativistic scale, be construed as a fender bender gone wrong-ish-ish, nothing that can't be fixed by a couple pieces of chewed bubble gum and duct tape, by an average homo sapien domiciled in that chimera of a society...
Enjoy... more work to do so let me get back on payroll

These kind of accidents are very common in that country.
You'll find a guy coming from the outer lane all the way to the inner lane and off a slip road, with complete disregard of other road users .
Mark you most of their roads are 100-120kph.

Haha I hadn't paid attention to notice that was Marina. Marina is a Mall on 25 Arab Gulf street, this road used to be the exhibition zone for those Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and I think there were two or so Bugatti Veyron, a VERY UNWISE decision to let a KUWAITI drive that Quad Turbo, W16 Engine, and if to the "Sport" trim, 1200 or so HP. Long ago people used to pray every time they arrived home with the vehicle intact!
There was a funny thing to this stretch...if you look at the 2nd video you will notice the wrecked vehicles on your left hand side looking forward; about 200 metres further on. I once got 2 traffic tickets within a minute! So cops would hide civilian cars with "mounted camera" in the parking lot on the side of th e road. So there I came with my STI 2009, with a healthy doze of mmphh that made it roughly 1.75 to 2.0 times as lethal as the already VERY formidable stock version! That STI 6 manual 6 speed, is what we call a short throw, meaning, you change the gears very fast due to closer proximity in gear ratios, and sometimes can be a real joy to drive. The modified DOM3 induced beast would, at 5000 RPM, basically start whistling and catapulted the vehicle like it was on air, and coupled with the deeper boxer growl from wider after market exhaust system...it was like a raging godzilla!.... If you ever fell backwards from slipping where the leg just slides and goes up high in front of you and your butt to the ground, there was such a sensation when that turbo kicked in, you just hold onto whatever you can, because even those racing bucket seats struggled to keep you planted. Anyway the STI gear 2 is lightning fast!!!!....so for 2009 stock, the pros could nail all the way down to about 4.5sec to 60, but the car was even faster, because 2nd gear maxes out at 96kph, so if hundred is the target you had to shift to 3rd, or it would be even faster. If your reflexes were fast, and you knew how to, forgot name of the term, having the foot simultaneously on the clutch and accelerator to prevent gratuitous drop in momentum during shifting, Speeds from about 70 to 130 came with stunning immediacy.
Anyway I passed where those cars on the video are, and got caught by a hidden camera, right before the traffic light(hidden in parking lot side of the road). So I made a U Turn at that light, and gunned, and little did I know there was a second one that side of the road too arghhhh!!!
So the STI and Evo were arch rivals of sort, where STI had higher output as well as straight line speed, whereas the Evo had more precise steering, and its anti-yaw system created a massive cornering beasf! So the STI had 3 trims; US market Trim(2.5L turbo), European Trim(2.5L turbo)--which I had; and JDM or Japanese version(2.0L Turbo), and the latter JDM was the greatest beast of all.
Opposite side of the road about 100M ahead, I was zooming through there with my STI. So this kid with that can't remember Caprice or something, the one that resembles in the Impala in North American markets, the more powerful version, which had quite some HP numbers probably north of 350HP towards 400HP. So this kid thought he was so bad, so he tied to creep to my side, then gun it, to make it look like his car is so fast, Darwinian nightmares, So I was in gear 2 and right the threshold. So I quickly downshifted and immediately pushed it to 6000RPM, and launched the 2nd gear virtually in the spooled up range, so that guy was left kinda far behind. I slowed down, coz I saw it was a bit unclear ahead with a pile of vehicle. When we gunned for it the roead was wide open no barriers....So that fool was concentrating on overtaking me, and I had already shifted out and receded in speed; So at about probably 105KpH, this guy found a wall of 3 vehicles moving at about 50KpH. It ran straight into the vehicle on the left jumped the curb and went over the divider to the opposite side of the road, and the other vehicle was knocked opposite side of road. Don't know how many of y0u have seen one of those decent speed wrecks right infront of your eyes; a cloud of debrish and blackened smoke usually followed, and as I passed the spot they had bondanad, it was darkness, and I continued with my journey home. Those people are idiots, another one, similar spot right where I narrated my first hidden camera getting me, so this knuckle head is supposed to make a left turn, and right upto the last 10 metres and at speed he is all the way on the right, and I caught it with my peripheral vision, thank the military for that; two things were going to happen: either he would cut me off and leave me hardy any space to stop safely; or else, out run him and let him bite his own bullet. At this juncture I was driving the Hundai Azera S380, which I also had at the time; a fun machine that one! It's not sporty but its light and fast! I went to manual and immediately went to trip tronic mode and shifted to 2nd to immediately trigger 6000 RPM, and I so did, the car accelerated instantly, and after about 5 to 10 meters, I just saw the same ominous Black Smoke in my rear view mirror after he smashed into the vehicle at the left side. If not him, he would have caused me to suffer a similar fate.
The types accidents that Kuwaitis can pull off, good gracious, you will be amazed! So on a city street, which came upon a round about, and a HUGE bump just at the start of the round about to slow the vehicles down, so driving form Al Kout Mall, I come up to the round about, and straight in front me, and in the middle of the round about, this vehicle had run straight into the monument there! Coming out of the bump, you can't have more than 20KpH, yet this guy instantly accelerated somehow in that small stretch (no more than 15M), sufficiently to jump the curb and smash into the monument! I don't even know how he managed to do that.
There were 2 very funny accidents I remember, one of which I saw, and another that I caught in the aftermath. So Kuwaitis were literally flying on those streets, almost in the literal sense, to they decided to introduce bumps! So the first evening, not many had seen it yet, So this vehicle is flying at around 100 to 110 KPH and sees round about at last monument, vehicle jumped and made a funny maneuver, it basically CORNERED when airborne, and settled on the left curb, and a domino of 5 other vehicles smashing into each other
followed; pap pap pap pap pap!
Another very funny one involved about 6 cars too, and I am simply not sure how exactly this happened, it was impossible to conclusively decipher the maze. So two way road separated by a center divider about 2 metres wide. So this car, apparently going forward, no idea how he did it but smashed into a vehicle on the left edge of the road, and a couple of near simultaneous bang bang bang bang happened....end result? There was an approximately n shape made. The first vehicle to jump the center divider ended up on the far far end curb opposite side of the road facing back wards, the vehicle diagonally inclined, more towards horizontal position relative to the road, and one behind it perpendicular to the center of the divider and planted there, and behind also almost horizontal but on the road, the last two were facing front after ramming into each other. So how do you start recreating this one? Geez!!!!

Still not making sense from Thursday.... What are you saying...
I said what I did, and did so in English; what do you want me to do? if you are really curious read more closely and employ your visual imagination; a lot of things I say you won't decipher upon a cursory glance....
