Live now on NTV. Congratulations to Jamii Telecom Limited, this is bound to bring prices down and improve quality of service. These guys are doing a great job.

Mzito Chepkwony of JTL is live on NTV and kass launching the network.

this will soon replace the giant SAFARICOM! (if am not misinformed) Ati wanapeana free on-net calls for life, so long as you’re subscribed to a bundle. e.g. 1GB at 50bob.

They have unlimited packages too . Heard CK talking about unlimited for an hour er al

Now this is a line worth buying, zinapatikana wapi?

I hope Chepkwony is also live in his Kass FM/TV not just enriching nation.

I once heard him give his testimony. He was retrenched at Telkom and was down about it. He went home to think things through, consulted various people and comeback with a plan. He started Kass and tapped other fellow retrenched staff to work together. It was success. He started Faiba and tapped more former colleagues and it took off. He made loads of losses here and there trying new stuff, brands and businesses but also some worked well. This is just another chapter and I wish him well. Akileta wireless home fibre with great speeds and cheaper then he will make it. Data is the future. Voice will be just added value. A complete reversal of the same 5 years ago.

3Gb*30 = 90Gb for 4k?

You need new a new phone that supports VOLTE on the 700 Mhz band.

It’s live on kass .

What really got him off the ground was simu ya jamii. He got a deal where he was the one selling the phones and used to sell airtime to all simu ya jamii fellows making some money from it. It
Helped of course that some of his contacts in Telkom were with safaricom.

Am now planning to resist safcom.

I hope they bring back this kasee…

Yeah . Remember they own quite a significant fiber network. One of the most extensive in east Africa .

They used to lease a lot of it to Safaricom but it seems with safaricom expanding its own fiber network JTL has decided to go head to head with them.

Asante I forgot about that.
