Leasing Land/Farming Business

I have about an acre and a half a few kilometres from Machakos Junction, I wanted to start a farming business but I don’t know what crops grow well in that area or where the produce is to be sold. If you’re in that field please feel share here or send me a message and we could even work together.

(I have posted this on the Business forum also for more reach and mods wareduce tags surely)

What about goat keeping?

Pengine kama kuna communal land enye inaweza enda malishoni. With an acre n half I would recommend dorper sheep farming in zero/semi grazing. Na bloody burukenge …toa hio avatar ya purple … freaking confusing us.

Talk to farmers in that area, also visit local markets to observe what they sell. Also visit local KALRO offices and they will explain the ecological aspects of the place. That will help narrow down on what you can plant.

This is 2022. All i want is to do FARMING. Though sina pesa mzuuuri, but i must do some farming ata kama ni kukuza tobacco…

Sorry for bumping into an old conversation. It’s good that you’re interested in starting a farming business. It’s essential to research what crops will grow well in your area and the demand for those crops. I suggest contacting local farmers in your area to ask for advice and see if they are willing to collaborate with you. You could also visit the local farmers’ market or talk to local grocery stores to see what products they would like to buy. Also, check out DCF Terminal Value Formula to build your business. Good luck with your new venture!
