IBMs were the real laptops. Back then we would stage machines and send them out to field associates in far flung locations like the Congo, and there would be no serious complaints for years. But that quality disappeared once IBM sold the business.
Laptops would be shipped back for repairs within months of deployment.

which ones are you referring to exactly because we have ordinary Lenovo laptops and then we have Lenovo Thinkpads.
Honestly can’t remember which of the two they were, ni kitambo. But what i remember is support calls increasing dramatically once the Lenovos came in.
some of the ordinary Lenovo laptops have issues, but Lenovo Thinkpads are generally well built.
