Just like Anglophones have their Accents Circuit : NZ, Australia, HonKong, Indian/Paki, East African, Southern African, West African, American, Brit…So do the Francophones. Learning new stuff everyday. It sounds like the Ivorians are the Nigerians of the Francophone speaking world
I look at it differently. Like comparing Swahili accents of Kenyans, Ugandans, Congolese and Tanzanians. Or Gikuyu Accents of Murang’a, Kirinyaga, Nyeri and Kiambu. I look at it from a cultural perspective. But I understand it’s hard to ignore colonialism when a European Language is involved.
