Let me say this in memory of Wanderi-RIP SOLDIER

I stumbled upon Klist back then in 2009 and I was hooked, for five good years there is no single day I failed to log into Klist apart from the two weeks last year August when I as a senior Circumcisor(Omukhebi), I had to take a break to attend to the young men.

Now my colleagues in the office knew my addiction to Klist and soon every one of them was hooked. Each one of them used to speculate about my handle and since @uwesmake was very popular then, they thought that was me.

Now my nickname in the office is Uwes.

I also stumbled upon Klist in 2009 while still in campus. Became more active in 2010 and started putting up listings pole pole nikiogopa matusi.

But the turning point for me was when I graduated and did a listing on that, the encouragement I got from the village was overwhelming, not a single negative thing was said, and that my friends is when I knew I was home!

long live wanderi products… tumejielimisha

I came across K/list very recently, in fact late 2013 and instantly got hooked. I was trying to promote my electronics and I inadvertently revealed my identity in my first 4 or 5 listings. When matusi started pouring in, i had to do away with promotions, went back and deleted the 5 listings. But somehow i was already hooked and had to start afresh.
I was ‘accepted’ when i posted a listing about that live porn thing’i that was happening in Kibera…(which was actually a Jamaican video;))

Anyway, RIP Wanderi. We are not orphans as we have a new and better father and home.

I bumped into photos of some sexy chick sijui from USIU am CATHO i can’t remember really but those photos have been doing rounds online since 2010 of some campus chick with black lingerie…this particular one had Klist watermark…I was hooked from there on…

I think I got hooked in 2008 when JP (Wanderi’s handle) was the only lister. From then, I visited Klist daily. I came to realise I am from the same village with Wanderi. Those days when we had kina xabi, lovely, cutie, sahau, couchpotato, hardroc (where did this bugger go) and many more, when drama was the order of the day in that blog. Its high time we try to bring Klist together again to Ktalk. So Long villagemate, till we meet again. Mwendo umeuliza, imani umeiweka!

I remember the early days of klist like yesterday, when our identities were open. We didn’t have moderators then. Deleting comments or listings were unheard of. Then Jerry came into the picture. He would post some satanic stuff in the middle of the night, and I would call wanderi to deactivate. Since such option didn’t exist, he would take the site offline, do some code to delete the listing then return online.

Eventually, he got fed up with calls at midnight. So he developed the moderators panel and appointed a granted a few of us access, so instead of waking him up, we now had the power to delete the offensive posts.

I cherish the memories of the unions we had with him, especially towards the end of last year when he visited. Could klist going down have been God’s way of telling us that the time is nigh? I can only look back and realize that the warning wad there only that we didn’t recognize it.

RIP dear friend. I choose to celebrate your life, not to mourn your death. RIP bro.

That Jerry nigga is a handful.

I clarified that in one of those posts on klist. Ha ha ha ha, nigga must have hated me. I am not a pigmy.

What happened to Wander_i ?

What do you mean?

Nowornder @Mundu Mulosi kept getting banned

When Klist went down.

Boss my original handle got banned forever. And the mods had a sense of humor too, kuna jama alisuspendiwa till Nov 2037.

Plans for revival have been ongoing. Not sure if they will continue. And btw, I joined KTalk just the other day, when all the speculation had been done and the dust settled.

It may not be surprising the late Wanderi was a member here. If he wanted you to know, he would surely have said it.

But a warning: Do not trust interns with your systems. All the klist miseries were caused by an intern.

i didnt know JW personally but the way you guys speak praises of him tells me he must have been a great guy. But then again we do that when anyone passes on.

One can only wish that he finds peace wherever he’s gone to. RIP man.

side note: @aviator i knew all along you were the real supu

@aviator so what happened to Wanderi? What caused his demise?

how old was JW? my idea of him is that he was a young man, under 40 i’d say, but you’re calling him ‘father’
