Let's Stretch Our Imagination

I know some questions might never get an answer but our ever curious minds can’t help think about them;

[li]what lies beyond our observable universe (hubble volume)?[/li][li]what is the nature of the boundary of the entire universe (both observable and unobservable) and what lies beyond it?[/li][li]is our universe the only universe we have or we have other infinite universes beyond ours, if yes then what separates them (the nature of that space between these universes)?[/li][/ul]

If you are driving faster than the speed of light, what would happen if you were to turn on your head lights?

Well its beyond comprehension of the human brain i believe…so dont waste your time trying to understand these mysteries.

Theoretically, c represents the upper limit of speed. Thus, it’s impossible to travel faster than light.

Likewise, the dimensions of the universe represent the upper limit of the Euclidean space, thus you can’t have space larger than that.

There is a theory about multiple universes. The space between our universe and those others would be a void. As in nothing.

ok, lemmi try to illustrate this using a simple example. if u travelling in a car, u r definitely moving at the speed of that car. so assuming u get suspended inside the car (no touching anything inside) you will hit the back of the car if your speed is reduced compared to that of the car you are in. my thinking is if the car is at (or more than) the speed of light and u switch on the headlights then my guess is to an observer, he wont see anything as the carrier is moving at a higher speed compared to what it is supposed to emit

At the speed of light, you are massless and you become an electromagnetic wave. In other words, you transition from the apparent particle nature of matter to the apparent wave nature of matter. You would simply be a spectrum of radiation.

No one knows the nature of the boundary of the universe. The most solid theory mantains that the universe is curved, but in time rather than in the three physical dimensions. So reaching one end of the universe makes you appear at the oppposite end, like following the circumference of a perfect circular curvature.

The above theory has some mathematical support, which is not perfect. Peculiarly, most things in the observable universe seem to follow a circular pattern [planets, orbits, solar systems, spiralling galaxies, gravity tends to form circular bodies etc]. The boundary is not yet understood despite all indications that the universe is finite.

99.999999% of an atom is empty space. If you could take away the empty space then all the subatomic particles in all the 7 billion people on planet earth would pack into a volume only a little larger than a grain of rice.

ok I understand the notion of emptiness…as in even the structures that we see as solid are merely virtual (not real) because there are some rays that can still penetrate them (meaning they are not as solid, have massive spaces between them). what is the nature of that emptiness then? I know if I take something and keep dividing it, i’ll eventually end up with nothing (or atoms which I believe is the furthest we can go?)…what is the make up of this nothing from which something is assembled?

Space is empty only in the Newtonian physics(classical physics)

When traveling close to the speed of light time slows down…time travel maybe

am I right in assuming that this world is not real?

because if time and distance can corrupt facts as we think we know them then how real is it?
