Limits of Humanity?

I came across the extended Kardashev scale. It describes how civilisations progress and what we can expect for ourselves in the future. It would appear @Purple might have been right about God all along hehe. Anyway, enjoy.

Type 0 civilization- We extract energy from crude organic based sources eg food, fossil fuel, wood. We are capable of orbital space flight. This is where we currently are in the 21st century earth.

Type I- we can extract all energy available to earth. We control the earth and weather, have colonized the moon, found aliens and cured aging. Space travel is now available to most people. We are mining asteroids & terraforming other planets and making them habitable.

Type II- We control the entire solar system and can harness the energy of a single star. Interstellar travel is now possible. The Dyson sphere (extracts all energy of the sun) is made, Matrioshka brain (star-sized computer) is made.

Type III- We extract energy from our galaxy and are capable of intergalactical space travel via wormholes.

Type IV- We can harness power from our own supercluster of galaxies and are basically immortal. Life can no longer die. Teleportation is discovered. Time-travel to the future is now possible.

Type V- We can extract energy from the whole of the universe. Later, we even discover other universes and subsequently, the multiverse(a space where a collection of universes exist). Later, the Megaverse (a space where a collection of multiverses exist) is discovered.

Type VI- Omniscience is almost achieved. We now exist in the multiverse and are capable of creating and maintaining the fundamental laws of each universe. We can create and destroy universes. We have mastered time travel. We can travel back to the Big Bang. We can make big bangs for universes happen.

Type VII-

We would travel, transcend and ultimately oversee or ‘‘be’’ the Omniverse which is the collection of every single universe, multiverse, megaverse, paraverse, dimension (alternate or pocket) and realm. Everything is in the Omniverse, and there is only one Omniverse.

It is likely that such power would come from an individual rather than a civilization, as the civilization would have transcended and merged into a single mind that would encompass all thoughts and all timelines, thus being omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. This is the Creator: a god above all gods, responsible for all of existence, past and future.

As a god, we would visit our past selves in the earlier civilisations, try not to reveal too much but just enough to ensure they follow the same path as we did.

@ChifuMbitika @nelo angelo what dyu guys think about this?

What are you drinking? I would like a sip.

Hii ni blockbuster Hollywood franchise.

if we are still in typo 0 and i the 21st century, then we have a loong way to go before we get to type 7.
maybe that’s why the world/earth/universe is many billion years old.

Since right now is a result of steps taken in the past, why would we have to travel back to make sure we end up right where we are? I think the only viable reasons to go back in time are I) To change the current II) Time tourism

Maybe we could travel back in time to prevent genocides eg kill Hitler or just ensure the technological advancements happen faster.

Am not sure if it’s even possible. Am not sure where we would get enough material to make a megastructure like the dyson sphere that covers the whole sun.

Hehe. Yes, it is sci-fi…probably will never happen but still, interesting to imagine if it could ever happen.

And there might arise new problems. Its because of Hitler we learned how to spot evil megalomaniacs.

Even in Type 0 we are still a long way off, scientist are still trying to figure out how to generate enough energy to transport humans to Mars let alone our galaxy. The best we did was traveling to the moon.

Please inbox me the poison you are taking kiongoss, I will see the future

Yeah. BTW watch Tenet, they have a very interesting concept of of going back in time. Reverse entropy.

Quite interesting stuff. If true or possible, the fact that we are at level zero means that our significance in the solar system and beyond is almost nil. But if we can transcend to the higher levels with time, it beats the reason why we have remained where we are for so long. I got quite interested in the theory of wormholes sometimes back but it raised more questions than answers in my mind.

Interesting but not achievable. natural disasters will always destroy civilizations leaving just a few individuals who have to start from scratch. The pyramids are an example, Egyptians did not build the massive to serve as tombs (They harnessed solar energy in some way we are yet to understand). I believe there has been several advanced civilizations that was destroyed by some kind of natural disaster. same way our civilization will be destroyed at some point in the future and the few remaining individuals will start again. So will will never reach type 1 civilization

Futurists like Michio Kaku believe we will become a type I in the next 100-200 years. We are already a 0.7 right now. There is this website which predicts the 21st Century and 22nd Century and what we can expect to see. Apparently by 2060 the oil age will be ending. By 2065 aging will be significantly reduced. It’s really interesting, check it out. It won’t happen, the earth has been experiencing cyclical cataclysms for a long time.Cyclical cataclysms caused hypothetically by pole shifts and well, there’s another one coming very soon.We don’t know when but probably when the earth’s poles will shift.Check the Adam and Eve Story declassified papers by the C.I.A.

That’s why we need to be a multi planet species. And from the look of things, this is already achievable, at least within our solar system.
