Chief Executive Officer, Linus
Gitahi is set to end tenure at the
Kimathi Street based media house
this December. Linus told board
members about his departure last
week.
Linus has been serving as the
C.E.O. since 2006 and during his
tenure, NMG has seen its profits
rise by large margins. However,
its broadcasting wing - QTV and
NTV - are still struggling in the
market especially after the
departure of Ian Fernades and
Shirleen Samat to Mediamax.
The search for his replacement
has officially begun and rumors
have it that Tom Mshindi may
take over his position.
