Lower class

Nauliza mtu akipata hii in Engineering na anataka kuingia masters degree straight next year ,anatumia ujanja gani?..apparently my bro amekataliwa na UoN na Jkuat…he has to wait for two years

what lower class? hebu soma hiyo cert yake vizuri vile imeandikwa…

Hakuna shortcut ,he can do a post graduate diploma in the meantime

Probably anamaanisha second lower. Gathee nikii mani…second class lower division most likely. Ama nimekosea @Nilzol ?

Shortcut ni angesoma kwa bidii. That is now water under the bridge. Angoje two years afanye kazi kidogo.

sipendi kujijazia vitu juu hivyo ndivyo watu hujipata moshi na walikuwa waende kitengela.

Sema tu hupendi kuchoka ukifikiria. You can contextualize.

Alafu aende aweke urinals hivi

pass na first class ndio naskia ni noma

engineering bora ugraduate. uko nje ni kujipanga. ukitaka job za maana lazima uwe sharp. Mwambie atafute 2 years experience then arudi shule

How can “pass” be in the same category with first class?

Ashaambiwa…hamna ujanja ngine?

Second lower

inategemea kama alisikia kwa base ya muguka…

Eti? Pengine ulisikia kwa wamama wa plot.

I really wonder when people say eti wanaenda kufanya Masters ya Eng, In Kenya, that Master’s will not add anything to your getting a job.Experience is what matters…Mimi nilifanya hiyo Engineering and I am doing something completely different from the course…Huku nje nikujipanga!

We seem to share similar sentiments on this point.
Engineering masters in KE is more of a joke, the skills they impart in bachelors are absolutely useless, well at least for the one I did(Electrical)
Assholes teaching the course are completely out of touch with the industries needs.

Nimesema hapa mara mob, if you want an engineering masters fanyia nje unless you want to become a bitter lecturer. You can work anywhere in the world especially Canada, Germany or Australia. If you have to do a masters in Kenya fanya MBA or project management, most engineering consultants and parastatals look for that.

The first degree is also known as the basic degree. It is intended (was) to open your mind. Basically kukutoa ignorance Fulani. Armed with it the possibilities (should) be endless. You are armed with skills to gather information (and question it). You are at the same level with your teacher (lecturer). Not everything he tells you is gospel. An experience you don’t get in the conventional primary or secondary school.

It is exactly the reason why people choosing an advanced degree Masters or doctorate are 99% self driven. You CHOOSE to go back to school.
