Of late kuna huyu madhe wa kuosha nguo ameinsist kuja kubisha bedsitter like every 2-3 days asking to wash my clothes at a fee. Everytime she comes I always decline and she is like "kubali tu, vijana wa siku hizi mnaoshewanga nguo, si utachoka ukiosha zako? Halafu unajua sisi wanawake huosha safi kuwashinda wanaume."
Growing up I have always washed my clothes alone and done my own chores alone. Been doing my own laundry(kuosha kwa besen) since when I was in class 3 and trimming the hedge, cutting the grass etc yaani self reliant. Hata kwa bedsitter I do the dishes if kisokorokwinyo amepika or just help wakiwa around, when alone mimi hufanya bila shida since I have been used to such from a younger age.
Sasa leo tena huyu Madhe amekuja tena kuomba if she can wash my clothes and clean the house for me and as usual, I declined politely. But today she changed tactics, her reply was "Kijana kama unaona mimi ni mzee naweza tuma msichana wangu mrembo akuje basi aoshe". Mimi nimechekalea hiyo reply
