In 2017, RAO lost 8 counties he had won in 2013.
These counties voted all positions overwhelmingly in favor of ODM in 2013.
There was a shift within the 4 years and they voted overwhelmingly in favor of JUBILEE candidates in 2017… I mean everything from MCA to PORK. Gues how many counties UHURU lost in 2017 after winning them in 2013… zero! He kept al his 2013 wins and snatched 8 counties from RAO
JUBILEE got over 30% of LUHYA votes with MaDvD on NASA’s side, and before the RAO betrayal. WSR doesn’t need the entirety of the LUHYA vote, he only needs a chunk of it… MaDvD would bring a chunk of the vote… we can argue on the size, but he’ll bring sumn’ and that’s all the man from SUGOI needs.

You misunderstood. The LUHYAs have not voted as a united block in recent HISTORY. I don’t imagine the whole of western falling in behind WSR, just a chunk of it. JUBILEE won 30% of the western vote before RAOs betrayal.

I think the problem is that guys imagine that UHURU will remain as powerful as he is now. INCUMBENCY has its perks, but it isn’t permanent. In 2022 UHURU will be weaker than MOI was in 2002…
UNLESS WSR loses GEMA support, 2022 isn’t even a competition. In 2002, RAO left NYACHAE and NYAYO MoUs to join team KIBAKI because KIBAKI had the numbers. That’s exactly what most politicians will do in 2022 if WSR keeps GEMAKALE numbers
You have alot of faith in IEBC which I don’t. From experience. I’m just telling you to manage your expectations. IEBC massages figures seriously. Don’t become too invested in these things. I am saying this as someone who’s been there.

I am not very vested in these matters. My BABA 2007 vote was stolen, but I wasn’t over the top angry. If anything, I am a realist. If WSR loses like BABA lost in 2013 and 2017, I will not look for excuses, I’ll accept he didn’t have the numbers. I just don’t think it’s healthy to imagine that winning is the criterion for determining how fair elections were.
