A
man from Baba Dogo in Nairobi
County on Tuesday night almost
killed his pregnant wife for losing
his USB which he claimed
contained some crucial
documents.
John Otieno, a father of two,
attacked his wife and started
beating her after failing to locate
the device.
Eyewitnesses said that they heard
the woman screaming at
around 8pm and rushed to rescue
her. She was calling out
neighbours’ names saying that
she was being killed for no
reason. The door to the house
was locked from inside and men
broke the glass windows and
rescued her.
The local administrator confirmed
the incident saying that the
woman was taken to Ruaraka
Neema Hospital and has since
been discharged while the
husband is being questioned at
the Ruaraka Police post.
The USB has not yet been
recovered and they suspect one of
the couple’s children lost it while
playing.
