A client crashed this vehicle in Mombasa showroom. The showroom wants the client to either buy or repair the vehicle. The client on his part is threatening to sue the showroom for putting him in an uninsured vehicle.
The showroom manager is not aware of the new brand of bhang that the client has been smoking.
The showroom assumed all culpability once they gave the potential buyer permission to check out the car. The guy is under no obligation to buy or repair the car.
It is not always about going to. scream and bangi tables in court, it is always about giving the best possible outcome to your client,
probably this vehicles do not have insurance permits to be on the roads, but they are insured against damage occuring in the showroom, such as fire, if in mombasa against tsunamis, or general damage.
here you call their bluff, deliberately delay the negotiations, always attend meetings with their lawyers, and I am 100% there is a guy who will not even.say a word in that meeting, he probably comes in late to avoid introduction, that is our insurance guy., follow up and once they pay the. company for the damage, drop the bombshell that they cannot claim twice for the samw damage and threaten them to move forward and go to court.
smart lawyers will let you off the hook, but if they do, you are also screwed, as the decision might favor you or, the insurance company files a counter suit suing your ass for the amount due, and trust me those guys have all the time and money to waste on you.
in any case, call their bluff and follow my advice…
